Dr. Kathleen Grace grew up along the Lake Michigan coast in Norton Shores. She was inspired to become a veterinarian by her family's loving and loyal Golden Retrievers. A lifelong bookworm, Dr. Grace earned her Bachelor's in English at the University of Michigan before splitting her allegiance and attending Michigan State University for veterinary school. Seeking a change in scenery, Dr. Grace and her husband Ryan moved to the Charlotte, North Carolina area for four years after graduation where they enjoyed their time meeting new friends and enjoying the beauty North Carolina had to offer. Dr. Grace and her family moved back to the Michigan area to be near family in the summer of 2023, joining the team at Eastown Veterinary Clinic shortly after!
General practice suits Dr. Grace well because she loves many aspects of small animal medicine. In particular, she enjoys being able to work hand-in-hand with families dealing with chronic illnesses. She recognizes that the foundation of caring for our patients is a solid relationship with their owners and is excited to work together to achieve the best outcome for your loved ones!
Dr. Grace resides in Norton Shores with her husband, Ryan; daughter, Noelle; dog, Ferris; and cats, Sloane and Cameron. In her free time, she enjoys distance running, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
